The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A fine layer of surface dust is present, most notably to the larger trash collage elements Minor wear, slight rubbing and a few fibrous accretions are to the corner-tips and turning edges. A sticker is affixed to the upper left turning edge of the left panel and the paper trash collage element to the right panel has shifted slightly in tone with minor wear. Drying cracks are scattered and a few fine hairline cracks are occasional, most notably to the white painted impasto peaks of both canvases. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
