The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the description on the catalogue;
- trimmed to, on or just inside the platemark, with thread margins in places.
- the upper left corner disturbed, possibly made-up.
- very skilful and unobtrusive repairs at the right corners.
- a very short, skilfully repaired tear at upper sheet edge at center.
- remains of old paper and glassine hinges at the upper and lower left corners verso, with minor associated buckling, visible mainly in raking light.
- inscribed with the number 63 in pencil verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
