The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- with substantial paper losses along the upper sheet edge and into the blank sky, very skilfully made up., possibly with some tiny touches of pen and ink at the top of hills at upper right.

- a very skilfully repaired area at the left sheet edge at lower centre, only visible in transmitting light.
- some tiny pinpoint foxmarks.
