拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is faint discouloration to the extreme left vertical edge and minor rubbing to the extreme right vertical and upper horizontal edges. There are some pinpoint accretions to the lower half. There is a hairline abrasion to the lower left horizontal edge. There are some pinpoint losses to the extreme vertical and horizontal edges, not visible when framed. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to one minute pinpoint spot of retouching to the upper right horizontal edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
