The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- trimmed to or just outside the platemark at right and below, trimmed to or on the subject above, fractionally into the subject at left.
- a narrow strip of the subject added at left and made up with pen and ink (1-2 mm. wide).
- a few minor nicks and tiny repairs at the upper sheet edge to the left.
- some minor thin spots in places.
- the collector's stamp slightly showing through recto.
- some remains of old glue verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition, unframed.
