The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The side edges of the canvas are covered with tape. Small losses are scattered, most notably to the edges. A horizontal crease is across center, and two faint ones are above and below center. Slight lifting is to the collaged elements at the upper right corner. Visible under ultraviolet light, minute spots of inpainting are to the aforementioned central crease, and a small spot is to the upper right quadrant in a green painted passage.
