The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. Minor foxing and handling marks occasionally on the surface. Minor creasing is present along the edges, predominantly on the lower and right edges. Faint fold marks to the upper left and upper right corner tips. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Cappellin's seal and reference number 308. Two strips of yellow tape, presumably for paper consolidation. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
