Cf. S. Raulet, Van Cleef & Arpels, Éditions du Regard, Paris, 1986, plate 206 'Parure de mariage de la Princesse Grace de Monaco (18 Avril 1956)', for a similar jewel. A very similar pair of ear-clips was given by H.R.H the Prince Rainier of Monaco to Grace Kelly as part of a parure on the occasion of their engagement in 1956.
