Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna (1847-1928), purchased from the St Petersburg branch of Fabergé on 22 December 1907 for 75 roubles.
Probably a gift from the above to H.M. Queen Mary (1867-1953).
By gift or descent to her daughter H.R.H. The Princess Mary, Princess Royal, Countess of Harewood (1897-1965).
By gift to the present owner.
