The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. Quelques très légères traces de manipulation sont visibles, principalement à la périphérie de l’œuvre. Quelques très légères traces de frottement, pour certaines associées à de très petits manques de matière, sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Quelques fines cassures du papier et petits accrocs, probablement associés au support choisi par l’artiste, sont visibles le long des bords. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The surface is very slightly dusty. A few very light handling marks are visible, mostly to the periphery of the work. Some minor rubbing, for some associated to very small paint losses, are visible in places to the surface. A few fine paper creases and small paper snags, probably inherent to the support chosen by the artist, are visible along the edges. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
