The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: very good. Shows minor signs of wear, including some light abrasion marks. Fitted with secure clasp.
-Additional marks: French marker's mark (unidentified).
-Mother-of-pearl: white and brown bodycolour, with typical iridescence. With a few typical blemishes such as wrinkles and a few chips.
-Carnelian, malachite and tiger's eye: with typical appearance, some chips.
