The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. A faint horizontal fold mark is apparent across the lower portion of the sheet. A small pinpoint stain is visible in the upper right area. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Cappellin's seal and reference number 174.
