Composition

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board along the upper edge and has shifted in tone. The edges of the sheet are lighter in tonality, likely from previously being covered by a mat. A few soft handling indents and drip accretions are intermittently in the margins. The lower left edge is irregular. A small loss is to the lower left corner tip. A pinpoint spot of possible foxing is to the lower right margin above the signature. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
