The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the purple slightly attenuated.
- two skillfully repaired scuffs in the left margin.
- an unobtrusive pale brown spot in the upper right margin.
- a small crack in the thick wove paper, at the extreme lower right corner.
- some pale handling marks in the upper margin at centre.
- hinged with tape at various points verso, with remains of old hinging.
- the reverse partially viewed because tightly hinged.
Otherwise as described and in generally good condition.
