The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the screenprinted surface in very good condition, with no apparent scuffs
- two unobtrusive printing creases (only visible in a raking light), a short horizontal one in the lines above 'Tesco', and a diagonal one to the upper right of the can, extending into the subject
- some very soft and unobtrusive pale purple lines in the background (possibly coloured crayon)
- some stray silver printing ink at the upper sheet edge (associated with the production)
- paper hinges at each corner on the reverse
