The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. Minor creases to the lower corners. Spots of paint drops to the upper right corner. A spot of blue abrasion near the calf of the figure. Faint foxing to the middle left. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Cappellin's seal and reference number 329.
