The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

i. The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. Faint foxing, creases and faint handling marks occasionally on the surface. A water stain to the upper left edge. A seal impression to the lower left corner. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front with several yellow strips of tapes on the left side of the sheet. Cappellin's reference on the lower left corner. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.

ii. The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. Faint foxing, creases and faint handling marks occasionally on the surface, predominantly on the four sides. A water stain to the upper left edge. Cappellin's seal to the lower left corner. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front with a yellow strip of tape on the upper left edge. A seal impression to the lower right corner. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.

iii. The edges are slightly deckled with discolouration. Foxing and faint handling marks occasionally on the surface. Some creases associated with minor tears on the four sides. Areas of paper losses to the upper right corner and lower right edge. An area of water stain on the arm of the figure. Fold marks to the upper left, right and lower right corners. An seal impression to the lower left corner. Two small holes; one to the upper left edge and one to the lower right corner. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed and Cappellin's seal on the lower right corner. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall stable condition.

iv. The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. Foxing, predominantly concentrated in the centre of the sheet, together with occasional creases and faint handling marks, is visible on the surface. Water stains associated with creases to the upper edge and middle right edge. ater staining associated with creasing is visible along the upper edge and at the centre of the right edge. Minor diagonal fold marks are present at the upper and lower right corners. A seal mark at the upper right corner. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front with several yellow strips of tapes on the four sides for paper consolidation. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.

v. The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. Foxing, creases and faint handling marks occasionally on the surface. Areas of water stain to upper edge of the sheet. A very minor tear to the lower right edge. Fold marks to the left side of the sheet. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall stable condition.

vi. The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. Foxing, predominantly concentrated in the centre of the sheet, creases and faint handling marks occasionally on the surface. Diagonal fold marks to the left side of the sheet, lower right and lower left corners. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall stable condition.
