The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue sans cadre. La feuille est fixée au revers à une marie-louise par du ruban adhésif le long des bords. La feuille présente une légère ondulation, principalement le long des bords. Une ancienne petite déchirure consolidée avec du ruban adhésif est visible le long du bord inférieur ; elle présente un exsudat d'huile du à la reconsolidation. Quelques autres très légères déchirures sont visibles le long du bord supérieur. Quelques petits points d'accrétion sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Une légère marque de frottement est visible dans le quart inférieur gauche et une très légère marque de manipulation est visible dans le quart supérieur droit. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold unframed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a mount with adhesive paper along the edges. The sheet undulates slightly, mostly along the edges. A former small tear which was reconsolidated with adhesive paper is visible along the lower edge ; it presents oil exudates due to the reconsolidation. A few other very slight tears are visible along the upper edge. A few small pinpoint accretions are visible in places to the surface. Minor rubbing is to the lower left quadrant and very slight handling marks are to the upper right quadrant. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
