The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- trimmed to or on platemark, fractionally to the subject in places.
- a vertical paper split between the standing nude man and the winged skeleton (approx. 50 mm.), skilfully supported.
- a short irregular tear at the upper sheet edge to the left (approx. 20 mm.).
- some pale time staining at the extreme sheet edges and other minor stains.
- with the usual vertical central crease.
- some soft creases in places, mainly along the edges.
- inscribed 45 in brown ink and 22 in red crayon verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition. Mounted, not framed.
