The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The edges are very slightly deckled, mostly along the right edge. Pinpoint foxing, negligible hairline creases and handling marks occasionally on the surface. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Cappellin's seal and reference number 243. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
