A wooden strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. A varnish layer is present. Minor wear is to the corner tips and turning edges, and a few fine hairline cracks are also to the turning edges. A pinpoint loss is to the center of the figure, and two pinpoint losses are to the figure's proper left hand. A few pinpoint accretions are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
