The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. Fine fold marks are apparent at the upper right edge, lower right corner, and upper left corner. Negligible pinpoint foxing is present. Minor creases and dents are visible along the right edge. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Faint traces of paper consolidation are visible along the left edge of the sheet. Cappellin's seal and reference number 212. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
