The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The instrument was artificially distressed to replicate age and use and to mirror George Harrison’s 1957 Duo-Jet. This includes applied scuffs and scratches to the finish and oxidation to the plating on the hardware. There are no visible signs of use, and the guitar is in almost “like new” condition. Not tested or fully examined internally.

Guitars, amps, cabs and pedals (Instruments) are composite Instruments fabricated with multiple interchangeable parts and components. These include but are not limited to necks, frets, tuners, pickguards, knobs, switches, pickups, and potentiometers. Many instruments in this collection have been used as tools of the trade for a professional musicians and may have often been altered to fit their needs as an artist. These alterations may include changes to the original manufacturer’s parts and finishes. Each lot is sold “as is”. Neither Christie’s nor the Sellers warrant that any Instrument exists in its original state or that any alterations noted in any Condition Report are final.
