The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work was not inspected outside of its wooden strip-frame, which is attached with nails to the side edges of the canvas. Minor wear with fine tension cracking, pinpoint losses and tiny accretions are to the extreme edges, with additional tiny accretions infrequently scattered. A faint vertical line is along the left edge, possibly inherent to the support. A small green accretion is to the lower left edge, possibly from the artist's studio. Faint discoloration is noted. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
