The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is tape along the turnover edges. The canvas is slightly slack. There is some minor rubbing to the corners with some pinpoint associated paint losses to the lower left corner. There is a pinpoint paint loss to the centre of the upper horizontal edge. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
