The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are very slightly deckled with faint discolouration. Faint foxing scattered across the surface. Fine creases scattered across the surface and along the edges. A negligeable fold mark to the lower right corner. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Cappellin's seal and reference number 198.
