The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Yellow gold
Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing; however, a service is recommended. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Dial: Very good. Black stone with hairlines, minor spots and brownish hues.
Case and bracelet: Many scratches and dents. The case back has surface wear. Glass is deformed.

White gold and diamond-set
Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing; however, a service is recommended. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Dial: Dirt and signs of ageing throughout.
Case and bracelet: Scratches and dents throughout. The bracelet is bent compared to the case so needs some intervention. Some tubes on the bracelet links are bent and not aligned.
