The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. Very light foxing is occasionally present on the surface. A horizontal fold mark is apparent across the centre of the work, with an additional fold mark at the upper left corner and multiple fold marks in the lower portion of the sheet. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Faint traces of paper consolidation corresponding to the creases and folds.
