The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good condition, the frames with chips and scratches to the edges consistent with age and use, some rubbing to the black paint. The jockey scene with some water staining to the oak, with small patches upper left and lower edge.
'With Linches Hounds' with some gaping around the edges of the oak panel, not flush to frame. the lower left corner of frame with more significant chip.
'With Sir Thomas Mabey Stanley's Hounds' with some shrinkage to the frame and not flush to frame.
There is a build up of dirt to the recessed areas, the whole set would benefit from a clean. Overall a very decorative suite.
