The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. A vertical fold mark is apparent across the centre of the work. Hairline creases, minor foxing and handling marks occasionally on the surface. One minor tear at the lower centre edge. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Cappellin's seal and reference number 331. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
