The present Ebel watch is concealed in a United States of America Twenty Dollar "1898" coin. The face and back of the coin are in good overall condition with signs of wear and tiny pinhead dings throughout. Inside the coin, the watch is in very good overall condition with signs of wear and light surface scratches on the case back. The dial is original. A small nick can be see with a loop on the center of the dial. All hallmarks are deep and visible. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
