The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The edges are slightly deckled with faint discolouration. Very minor foxing is intermittently scattered across the surface. Minor creasing is present along the edges, predominantly along the upper edge. A faint transfer mark of the seal is present at the lower left. Paper loss is visible along the upper edge. Faint fold marks to the upper left and upper right corner tips. On the reverse, the condition is consistent with the aforementioned condition observed on the front. Faint traces of paper consolidation are visible along all four edges. Cappellin's seal and reference number 217. Subject to the foregoing, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
