The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A wooden strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas and a fine layer of surface dust is present. Faint stretcher bar impressions with some associated hairline cracking are to the horizontal edges. Slight rubbing and hairline tension cracking is to the corner-tips and turning edges. Visible under close inspection and raking light, fine harline cracks are occasional, most notably to the upper half of the canvas. A few small losses are occasional, most notably to left of center in a red painted passage and to the lower right corner in a blue painted passage. Faint drip accretions are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
