The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition. Wood surfaces with robust and attractive patina including scratches, minor abrasions, and areas of light and dark discoloration as can be expected with age and use. Paint was reapplied at an early date and displays minor loss along the edges. Laminated surfaces with some light scratches and discoloration. Doors are of indeterminate age and stick in use, and clothes hook to side of cabinet replaced. Thirteen plastic drawers present with surface scratches, chips and abrasions concentrated to the edges as can be expected with use. Seven drawers are later replacements consistent with the original. Wardrobe has been rewired to accomodate a wall light not included in this lot. Please note that Christie’s does not guarantee the functionality of the electrical components.
