The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and the edges are deckled. Pinholes are to the corners, presumably a vestige of the artist's working process. Soft creasing, a few small accretions and slight undulation are occasionally to the sheet. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
