The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil on canvas. Glue-lined. Lightly varnished. Surface dirt associated with a few pinpoint surface accretions. Some small spots of staining in the lower right corner and some further at upper centre. Brown paper tape to the extreme edges with some abrasion and rubbing, most notably to the four corners where the tape has worn. A few surface scratches at the centre left edge. Examined under ultraviolet light: the surface is difficult to read. No apparent retouching.
