The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A wooden strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. A fine layer of surface dust is present and a possible varnish layer is present. Wear, rubbing and a few tiny losses are occasional to the corner-tips and turning edges. Drying cracks, craquelure and hairline cracks, some with associated tiny losses, are scattered throughout. Visible under ultraviolet light, spots of inpainting are scattered throughout. Please note, a fine layer of surface dust, cobwebs and fly speck are also present to the reverse.
