The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of frame. The sheet appears to be hinged in places on the reverse to it’s underlying support. The sheet undulates slightly and the edges are deckled. There are artist’s pinholes to the upper and lower left corners and an associated tear to the upper corners. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the forgoing it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
