The work is structurally sound. There are nail heads visible along the edges, coherent with the construction the carrier/frame. There are some soft handling marks and other small defects to the wooden frame. There are material losses to the leafs, coherent with the nature of the material used. There are abrasions to the cardboard along the upper centre edge, presumably coherent with the artist's working process. There is some soft surface dust and dirt in places. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting.
