Deux nus (étude)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pencil on paper. The reverse of the sheet is hinged along the edges with Japan paper to a sheet support that has been cut to shape to allow both sides of the drawing to be fully visible. The upper edge serrated corresponding to the sheet being previously removed from the artist's sketchbook. Some minor light surface dirt and light-staining. One diagonal flattened fold towards the lower left corner. The medium is strong throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.

Graphite sur papier. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des fausse marges. Le bord supérieur perforé dû au fait que la feuille provienne d’un carnet à dessin de l’artiste. Légère salissure de surface et légère insolation de la feuille. Une pliure diagonale aplatie vers le coin inférieur gauche. Le médium est vif sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre semble être en bon état général.
