The sheet is hinged at the upper corners and center side edges to the backing board and undulates very slightly. Small, faint creases are visible infrequently to the sheet. Faint hairline abrasions are visible occasionally, most notably above the figure's head and at center, possibly vestiges of the artist's working method. A tiny loss is to the figure's leg and a minute crease is to the fingertip of the collage left of center. Some hairline drying cracks are visible occasionally to thicker passages of paint. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
