The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet
- the signature is inscribed in the lower right of the image and is mainly visible in a raking light
- the sheet with minor vertical cockling, consistent with the print having previously been rolled
- a handling crease in the black near the right sheet edge, mainly visible in a raking light
- some minor and unobtrusive handling indentations in the subject (only visible in a raking light)
- some pale brown spots in the lower margin recto, and some further spots on the reverse
- some creases in the lower and upper margin and at the lower right corner (mainly visible in a raking light)
- hinged with Japan paper in two places at the upper sheet edge on the reverse
Otherwise as described in the catalogue and in good condition.
