The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. The sheet and board have shifted in tone. A few pinpoint nicks are to the corner-tips and edges and a soft crease is to the lower right corner-tip of the sheet. Visible under close inspection, a pinpoint tear is near the center left extreme edge. A few fine abrasions are to the upper right quadrant of the sheet, presumably a vestige of the artist's working method. A faint linear indentation is to center, also presumably a vestige of the artist's working method. A few pinpoint spots of foxing are occasional.
