, 2002 is a collection of ten iconic images by Laurie Simmons created for The New Museum, New York. The set contains works from her series including the , and her early black and white photographs.

A contemporary of Cindy Sherman and Richard Prince, Simmons' first photographs were portraits of friends. She turned her attention to dolls in the 1970s after working as a freelance photographer for a miniature dollhouse company. Composing her shots with dramatic light and from closely cropped angles, Simmons' photographs resemble scenes that could be mistaken as taken from real life.
