Each painted card is laid down on canvas, and the canvases are framed within three separate wooden strip frames. Minor wear is to the corner tips and turning edges of the cards. A few faint creases are occasional to the extreme edges of the cards, in keeping with the artist's working method. A few spots of adhesive residue and spots of discoloration are also occasional to the extreme edges. A few faint hairline abrasions are scattered. On panel four, there is a horizontal indentation near the lower left corner in the black. On panel five, small accretions are scattered across the lower third. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
