The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, with minor abrasions throughout gold. Brooches fitted with double pinstem clipbacks. Gross weight of each element: 14.9 grams (the biggest brooch) and 8.4 grams (the smallest brooch).
- Additional marks: 750, ©, OR (biggest brooch), 750, © (smallest brooch).
- Rubies: with typical inclusions, minor cracks at surface.
- Diamonds: bright and lively.
