The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The work is structurally sound. The canvas is slightly wavy. There are some surface irregularities in places, coherent with the artist's working process. There are stretcher marks visible along the edges. A fine pattern of craquelure visible throughout. There are handling marks in places. There are a few faint abrasions in places. There is some rubbing to the extreme edges. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting.
