The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This work has not been examined unframed. The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips and periodically along the edges. The sheet undulates slightly and the edges of the sheet are deckled. Handling marks are intermittent, presumably a vestige of the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
