The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There are some minute tension cracks in places to the extreme edges, most notably to the upper horizontal edge. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
