The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. All collage elements appear to be present and adhere well to their underlying support. There are a few faint abrasions and handling marks in places. There are a few pinpoint accretions in places. There are some irregularities to the upper black quadrant of the canvas corresponding to historic packing materials. When examined under ultra-violet light there is no indication of any inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
